We offer with great pleasure, wherever possible, our cooperation to the Romanian ZARVA Festival. In "de Kopermolen"- the cultural heart of Vaals, there are concerts and exhibits being organized with their main focus on the “crossing borders” aspect of the Euregio. This festival brings another deeper European dimension to our region: in a place where the borders of West-European countries touch, a bridge to Romania is being built. Through a thrilling “Auseinandersetzung” of  paintings, music and artists from Holland, Germany and Romania it shall be proven that art unifies and by definition doesn't lend itself to boundaries. In this context Vaals is honored to be able to bring its contribution and to be the host of these events. We wish our guests and artists a wonderful five days event! Drs. Stichting De Kopermolen Vaals is looking forward to working together with ZARVA in this project in which The Netherlands, Limburg and the surrounding Euregio comes in contact with music and art from Romania. The cultural interchange is always an enriching experience for the participating countries. Therefore we recommend to all art lovers in the near or far region of Vaals to acknowledge this chance of a very fruitful encounter.
